Bacon-Wrapped Oysters
1 pint of Select or Extra-Select Hillman oysters
10-12 thin slices of bacon
Cheese (your choice - cheddar, Swiss, cream etc.)
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Drain oysters and pat dry on paper towel. Cut bacon slices in half and lay an oyster on each piece. Cut a piece of cheese sized to fit on top, and fasten bacon around both with a toothpick. Place oysters as assembled in a shallow baking dish. Cook about ten minutes, until bacon is crisp. Makes great appetizers!
